Hard to believe, but this modern replica of a sixteenth century English pub was carved by hand using surgical tools. Notice especially the balcony, the detail in the fabric of the chairs, the glowing fireplace (copper wire), and the movable legs and leaves of the table (foreground, blurred). What a marvel of patience and skill.
To take this picture I had to nearly bury my head in the dollhouse (pub) being careful not to block out the light. If you could see my head in the picture, it would be nearly as high as the room. (Not that there aren't those who believe I've achieved this for real.)
